New Yard Signs at CafePress

CafePress added a new product to the mix - one we’ve been waiting on close to 4 years - Yard Signs. I got one shortly after they came out and finally got around to taking some pictures to share with everyone.
Here’s a view of the sign assembled and in the ground, with our dal Dot checking the poles for her nemesis - any lizard:

I chose this design for a few reasons, one being that it has some pretty detailed effects like bevels, drop shadows and textures. Here’s a close up of the printing, which doesn’t do the sign the justice it deserves:

Overall, I am very impressed. The sign is shipped separately from other items in your order. It comes in a cardboard tube, roughly 3 feet long. There is some assembly required, but instructions are included. I do wish we had the ability to print a different image on each side, and that’s about the only drawback I can see now. This sign has already got a pretty good beating as Dot seems to think it’s a croquet wicket and she’s a ball barreling through (chasing a lizard, of course). I do wonder how it would hold up in windy weather, as it’s a flexible mylar material, slipped over the frame like a pillowcase. I figured that if it starts to blow off, you could easily get some foam tape to hold it on the frame. I love the fact that you can store it so easily - just roll it up and put it in the tube for next year.
